My story

Meet Pepa! Pepa entered Downey Shelter as a stray. When she wasn't claimed, we scooped her up to become a Frosted Face on July 2nd. She is about 11 years old and weighs 11 lbs. This adorable little white floof recently went on a two-week Frosted Fling, where she soaked up the love and comforts of home life — and earned a rave review! Her Fling Mom gave us the inside scoop on this perfect pint-sized companion: 💗 Peppa knows her name and hears just fine — she’s sharp and attentive! 💗 She’s an excellent little doorbell, always letting you know when someone’s at the door. 💗 Cuddles are her love language — under blankets, on dog beds, or snuggled up close. 💗 Yes, she’d love to sleep in bed with you. 💗 She's a grazer, preferring to eat on her own relaxed schedule. 💗 Peppa enjoys her walks and is a polite little leash walker. 💗 She adores attention but is never pushy — just a gentle, loving presence. 💗 No fear of cars, skateboards, or even fireworks — she's a calm and confident girl. 💗 Peppa greets strangers with tail wags and welcomes pets like a true social butterfly. 💗 She gets along beautifully with other dogs, both big and small. 💗 No separation anxiety here — Peppa’s content and independent when you’re away. 💗 She loves car rides and behaves like a seasoned road-tripper. Peppa is the total package — affectionate, calm, and easygoing with a touch of sass. She’s looking for a forever home where she can enjoy all the cozy comforts she’s come to adore.
