My story

Meet Pongo!This sensitive two year old male cat is looking for a kind heart and open mind to give him a forever home. Brought to our shelter from a hoarding situation, this sweet boy has not had the normal housecat life and is a bit more sensitive to new places and people as a result. Pongo is searching for a quiet, low-traffic home, free from the disturbances of loud noises and busy movement. He would likely do best in a home with children 13+ and no canine companions. He takes a bit longer to warm up to new people than the average housecat, so he needs someone who is willing to give him all the time and space he needs to feel comfortable before interacting and building a bond with them. Pongo has lived with other cats previously, and may do well with some cat companions in his forever home. However, we still recommend slow introductions between Pongo and any potential feline family members.
