My story

Spaniel Day Lewis is an 8-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix who came to us as an owner surrender from Taft after his person moved into a nursing home. When he arrived, he was dealing with numerous painful foxtails embedded in his skin. Despite what he was going through, Spaniel remained gentle and good-natured. He’s a sweet, social dog who gets along well with other dogs. He’s active for his age, alert, and has a cheerful, playful personality. Spaniel enjoys being around people and is often seen with a smile on his face. He would do well in a home that appreciates a mature, easygoing dog with a touch of spunk. Spaniel Day Lewis is ready for a fresh start with a family who will give him the care and companionship he deserves. ------------- Looking to Adopt? Submit a Rescue Questionnaire!
