My story

Sassy Pants A17600982 lb. spayed female, approx 7 years old -Happy girl who enjoys running around outside -She’s very sweet and loving-Loves to be close and turns her body just right so you can scratch her booty-Leans her whole body into you for attention. If you stop petting her she will nudge you with her head.-Affectionate and gives kisses-She’s very calm and not very expressive. Her nubby tail will wag occasionally though.-She has no interest in treats or toys at the moment -Doesn’t seem to understand “sit” but when I asked her to “lay down” she immediately did. Just the word “down” gets her to lay.-She’s a gentle gal-Friendly but not overly needy-Walks very nicely on a leash-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
