Hello, world! I’m Calvin, an active, hilariously clever boy with a PhD in Playtime and a minor in Gate Defeating. That’s right: I’m so smart, I can open gates even when they’re clipped. Houdini? Ever hear of him?I’m a pro at all things active. Whether it's hiking, camping, jogging, or inventing my own games in the backyard, I’m always on the move. If you’ve got an active lifestyle, I’m your dream sidekick. I’m also friendly with dogs and think every pup I meet should join my ever-growing fan club. Don’t worry though, I’ve got my polite side too. I’m house trained and know the ins and outs of indoor living (but I will try to outsmart any gate you install, so fair warning).If you’re looking for a four-legged goofball who’s equal parts athlete, genius, and cuddle machine...Calvin is your guy!Calvin is one year old and weighs 75 pounds.The adoption fee for adult dogs, seven months and older, is $250. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting a dog, please stop by the shelter during open hours. Dogs may be in a foster home, therefore scheduling an appointment is recommended. If you have an existing dog at home, we recommend bringing it along to meet your possible new family member.helpingstrays.org
