My story

Current Location: Silver Spring, MD MEET KING – A HANDSOME HUNK! King is a happy, playful pup who’s ready to bring joy, energy, and lots of love into your life! At just 1 year old, this big, sweet boy is full of puppy enthusiasm and has a heart as big as his paws. He’s still growing into himself and learning the ropes of being the best dog he can be. PERSONALITY: -King is all about fun and connection. Whether he's romping in the yard or checking in with his people for love and treats, he’s fully present and eager to engage. - Energetic and affectionate - Friendly with both male and female dogs - Loves to play, especially with active pups! - Treat-motivated and eager to please - Enjoys time with people and wants to be near his humans - Enthusiastic stick collector and toy fan - King recently met both a male Lab and a female Husky (both altered), and he did wonderfully with both. He especially enjoyed playing with the Husky and matched her energy well. TRAINING & EXERCISE NEEDS: -King is still very much a puppy and will benefit from continued training, structure, and activity. He's smart, attentive, and wants to do the right thing — he's just looking for guidance. - Would thrive in a home that enjoys outdoor activities and active playtime - Would do great with another playful dog - Would benefit from basic obedience training to channel his energy and sharpen his skills - Needs consistent exercise and attention to be his happiest, most balanced self IDEAL HOME: - King is best suited for an active home where he can be part of the action and continue to grow into a confident adult dog. - Ideal for adopters who enjoy walking, hiking, or active play - Would love a dog buddy to wrestle and run with - A fenced yard would be a bonus - Adopters with time to provide enrichment, training, and affection - A family or individual ready for the rewarding work of raising a young, enthusiastic pup INCLUDED VETERINARY CARE: - Visit to Veterinarian: Health certificate included - Vaccinations: Up to date for his age - Neutered - Microchipped - Heartworm Preventative - Flea and Tick Preventative - Worm/Parasite Treatments King is a loving, fun, and active pup who’s just waiting for a forever family to call his own.
