My story

Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue PURR MACHINE WITH A CURIOUS HEART Meow! My name is Mushka, and my estimated birthday is April 20, 2025. I'm the kind of kitten who greets the day with a wide-eyed sense of wonder and ends it curled happily in your arms, purring like a tiny motorboat. I was bottle-fed and hand-raised alongside my brother Mickey, which means I’m exceptionally people-focused and full of trust, affection, and confidence. I’m endlessly curious, always poking my little nose into new spaces, inspecting your shoelaces, or chasing after a crinkly foil ball like it’s a great treasure. My energy is playful and lighthearted, but when the excitement winds down, I turn into a total cuddlebug. I adore being scooped up and snuggled—bonus points if you let me nap against your chest while I serenade you with my loud, contented purring. I’d thrive in a home with another young cat or playful kitten companion to tumble around with. I’d also be a wonderful addition to a family with kind, respectful children who can keep up with my zest for play and shower me with affection. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
