My story

&#226&#156&#168 Meet Rafe – The Gentle Soul with the Melting Eyes &#226&#156&#168 There’s something truly special about Rafe — from the moment you meet him, you feel it. Born around April 25th to a sweet yellow Lab mix mama (weighing about 42 pounds), Rafe inherited all the best qualities of both Lab and Beagle: affectionate, loyal, and endlessly curious. Rafe isn’t just adorable (although yes, those big brown eyes and his curious little head tilt are heart-stoppers) — he’s also wise beyond his puppy months. He’s quick to learn, gentle in nature, and happiest when he’s part of the pack, whether that means napping on top of his siblings or curling up quietly in your lap. He’s the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room, not because he’s needy, but because you’re his person, and he wants to be by your side. Whether you’re heading out for an adventure or staying in for a movie night, Rafe is always ready to join. He’s loyal, snuggly, and eager to please — the true definition of a best friend. His friendly nature makes him a wonderful fit for families, singles, or multi-pet households. We expect Rafe to grow to around 45 pounds when fully grown — just the right size for hugs, hikes, and everything in between. If your heart is saying, 'This is my dog,' then don’t wait. Reach out to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to learn more about adopting Rafe. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 2, 2025, 12:34 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt PUPPY RAFE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
