My story

Meet Gretchen! This darling 2.5-month-old pup is as cute as they come — a mostly non-shedding mix with a soft white coat and a big, lovable personality. She currently weighs just 4 pounds and is expected to stay small, likely around 12 pounds full grown. While she’s low-shed, she’ll need occasional grooming to keep her looking and feeling great. Gretchen is outgoing, confident, and incredibly social — she adores people and gets along with everyone she meets. She’s still very much a baby with no training yet, so she’ll need a committed adopter who’s ready to take on puppy basics, socialization, and plenty of exercise and playtime. She’s not fully vaccinated yet, so she’ll need to finish her puppy vaccine series over the next two months before she can safely explore public spaces or shared surfaces. We’re looking for a home (no apartments, please) with room to play — and ideally, another friendly dog for her to learn from and grow up with. She came to us from a kind person who loved her deeply but couldn’t manage the care of multiple dogs. Now she’s safe, thriving in foster care, and ready for her forever home! We do keep applications on file for 90days in case the dog you apply for it already adopted or not the right fit simply email us to forward your application on to another dog of interest. Our dogs are in foster homes all over the Bay Area and all adopters are required to travel to the foster home to meet. We do not have a facility. No meet and greet can happen until application is completed. Our Commitment to Our Dogs Every dog in our care receives comprehensive veterinary care, including: • Spay/Neuter surgery • Microchipping • DHPP vaccination • Flea treatment and deworming • Rabies vaccination • Any additional vet care as needed The adoption fee for this dog is $750 serving as a non-refundable donation to help cover vetting, transport, and care costs. Adoption fees may vary based on specific dog and needs.
