My story

Mossy – The Muppet-Faced Mischief Maker Mossy, the entertainer of the crew. This little guy is a Shih Tzu–Brussels Griffon mix with an expressive face, soaking wet fur (he loves the water bowl), and endless antics. At just 9 weeks old and 5.5 lbs, he’s thriving in his Bay Area foster home and expected to grow into a medium-sized mutt, 14–20 lbs full grown. Mossy is the most energetic and mischievous of the bunch. He’s high drive, endlessly curious, and always up for a game. He’ll need a very active adopter, a dog playmate, a yard, and most importantly, someone who isn’t gone all day—he’ll fall behind on training and get into trouble without supervision and stimulation. He’s great with other animals and kids, but he needs a home that sees his big personality as a bonus and is ready for lots of laughs and even more love. We do keep applications on file for 90days in case the dog you apply for it already adopted or not the right fit simply email us to forward your application on to another dog of interest. Our dogs are in foster homes all over the Bay Area and all adopters are required to travel to the foster home to meet. We do not have a facility. No meet and greet can happen until application is completed. Our Commitment to Our Dogs Every dog in our care receives comprehensive veterinary care, including: • Spay/Neuter surgery • Microchipping • DHPP vaccination • Flea treatment and deworming • Rabies vaccination • Any additional vet care as needed The adoption fee for this dog is $700 serving as a non-refundable donation to help cover vetting, transport, and care costs. Adoption fees may vary based on specific dog and needs.
