Luna

My story

Luna is the perfect dog. We rescued her from the Humane Society June 1. She was picked up as a stray. She is approx 2 years old. She is house broken, knows sit, and is very good on a leash. She adores all people! Overnight she sleeps on her bed, the couch, or the floor - we are not crate dog owners. She is terrified of fireworks, sprinklers, and loud noises. She is fine on walks when other dogs are across the street (totally ignores them) but up close she cowers, and if the dog gets too close, Luna will nip/bark (so dog park was a hot mess! We do not recommend). We are heartbroken that we are not able to keep her - which brings us to the big issue - NO CATS! We currently have the house sectioned off half/half for cats/dogs in hopes time would help - but it is very obvious that Luna’s prey drive is just too strong. We fear for the cats’ safety should Luna get through the gate. Luna would be the perfect only pet - she really is fantastic! We will be very picky about her new home.
