My story

At 8 years old and just 14 pounds, Betsy has already lived through some tough times. She was confiscated from her previous owner by animal control, and while we don’t know exactly what her past looked like, we do know that her future just got a whole lot brighter. Because no matter what she’s been through, Betsy has somehow decided that life is good, and everyone she meets is her new best friend!She’s the kind of dog who walks right up to a stranger like she’s known them for years. Her tail is always wagging, and she seems to be smiling pretty much all the time. She adores people, loves hanging out with other dogs, and will happily supervise the play group like a proud little hall monitor (sometimes she even joins in, in her own slow-mo senior style).Betsy has a curious heart and a quirky, adorable way of doing things. She likes her walks slow and thoughtful, stopping to sniff absolutely everything. She loves to be held like a baby and will snuggle right into your chest like she belongs there - because she kinda does! She’s sweet. She’s funny. She’s quirky in all the best ways.
