My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog J:2This dog is available to meet by appointment only.  Twilight is a stunning 1-year-old, 44-pound Siberian Husky mix with a soft white coat and an even softer heart. Right now, she’s feeling pretty overwhelmed in the shelter. She’s shy, cautious, and needs gentle, patient people to help her shine. Twilight has a low-to-medium energy level and prefers to keep her distance from pushy dogs. She’d do best as a solo dog or with a calm, well-matched canine friend. Once she feels safe, she shows moments of curiosity and leans in for comfort. She’s looking for a calm, understanding home (adults or older, dog-savvy kids) where she can build confidence at her own pace.
