DOB 12/18/24 Meet Celeste, a confident, striking flame point with dazzling blue eyes. She will (literally and figuratively) knock your socks off! Celeste loves anything that wiggles, including fingers and toes, but luckily is equally as charmed by wand toys, balls, and scratching posts. Her perfect day includes eating, exploring, romping around with Bennie, and lounging like a proper duchess. Celeste is joyfully bonded with her bestie Bennie, and they will wrestle, play, eat, and sunbathe together. Celeste will playfully inspect every inch of her living space- maybe something new will appear! She also uses the window as her own personal nature show. She is not a fan of being brushed, and is not much of a lap cat (luckily she's got Bennie to sub in for her!). She would love to greet you when you get home and tell you all about her day. PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Celeste (Bonded with Bennie), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
