My story

**Meet Misty – Your Playful, Social Sidekick in the Making** Misty is a happy, medium-energy puppy who’s still learning the ropes but already knows how to charm everyone she meets. She’s incredibly social — with people, dogs, and even cats — and loves to be right in the middle of the action. Misty gets along great with other dogs. She plays well with her sister Mango and doesn’t hesitate to mix it up with her much bigger foster brother, Peter. She recently met the resident cat and was curious but respectful. With people, she’s just as easygoing — equally friendly with men and women. She especially loves following her foster mom around, eager to be wherever the excitement (or food) is. She’s even had a fun play session with an 11-year-old, delighting in the child's long hair. As a young pup, Misty isn’t housetrained yet and isn’t leash-walking due to her age and vaccination status. She hasn’t learned commands yet either, but she’s at the perfect age to start training. She loves toys, plays hard, and crashes just as hard afterward — napping with her sister after a good romp. Misty would thrive in a home with another friendly dog but could also do well as a solo pup with attentive humans. She’s still too young to be left to roam freely and isn't a fan of being crated when her people are home — expect some loud complaints! But with guidance, love, and structure, she’s on her way to becoming an amazing lifelong companion.
