Tootsie

My story

Tootsie, fka Vera.  I’ll get a better picture of her tomorrow.  This one was just after she had been trapped.   She’s 3 yrs old and super sweet.  After being left behind by her owner, she began living in a trailer park, hanging out under the old trailers with feral friends, scrounging for whatever food they could get and drinking rainwater when they could. Life got so much better when the park manager contacted a local cat rescue group who set up a TNR clinic for Tootsie and friends.  At the clinic it was apparent that this little girl was very tame, sweet and loving.  She’s not under a trailer any longer and will soon be on her way to a forever home. Her friends are still living in the park, but they now have a colony manager who makes sure they have food and water every day.   Currently at the EAPL Cat Adoption Center at Chow Down in Evergreen.  Be sure to complete a cat application at www.eapl.com.  Once approved, you'll be able to adopt the cat best suited to you and your home.
