My story

Boom shakalaka, here is Hi’laka! Hello, my name is Hi’laka and I'm a 2-year-old, 56 lb. bundle of love looking for my forever family! My foster parents say I'm a super happy and friendly girl who has never met a stranger. Everyone is my best friend, including kids and other dogs of all sizes! I'm also pretty chill with cats so far. Further testing will be done…just ask me how it’s going if you have a cat. I'm a very affectionate lady who believes personal space is overrated. I'd much rather be snuggled up close to you and am known for giving the best hugs. I'm a quiet lady in the house, potty & crate trained, and I walk nicely on a leash. Some of my absolute favorite things include car rides, crunching on ice cubes, swimming(I’m a total water dog!), and all food, especially if there's peanut butter involved! I take my treats very gently and I'm eager to please. I can't wait to find a family to share all my love and cuddles with!
