If you’ve been searching for a dog who is equal parts hilarious and heartwarming, look no further- Atlas is your guy. This 2-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix is a lovable goofball with the sweetest soul and a face that’s basically a serotonin boost in dog form. Atlas found shelter life overwhelming and lucked out when one of our trainers decided to take him to foster. She says he’s absolutely thriving in a home setting! He’s fully housebroken, has perfect house manners, and can even be trusted out and about without getting into trouble (unless the trouble is being too cute). This big softie lives for his dog friends! He plays nonstop with his three foster siblings and handles even the grumpiest introductions with grace and a tail wag. He truly shines when he has a doggy companion by his side. With all the recent changes in his life, Atlas is at his happiest and most relaxed when he has another pup to play and snuggle with, so a home with another friendly dog is a must. Atlas is funny, friendly, and full of personality! From his joyful zoomies to his ridiculous play faces, he’s the kind of dog who makes you laugh out loud one minute and melts your heart the next. He would be a great fit for most adopters who are ready to welcome a sweet, social, and downright delightful dog into their lives.
