Meet Pancake – the Sweetest Shepherd Mix You’ll Ever Snuggle! 🐾 Pancake is a 2-year-old white shepherd mix with the softest personality and the most endearing features—one of his pointy ears flops just a little to the right, and his eyes are framed with one pink and one brown lower lid. Add in his cute light brown nose, and you’ve got one handsome, lovable pup! Pancake is a laid-back, gentle soul who is fully house and crate trained. He’s great with older kids and gets along wonderfully with other dogs—his best friend is his foster brother, Rocky! Pancake loves a good play session, but he’s also happy to relax by your side or crawl into your lap for hugs. He’s an expert napper and a pro at cozy companionship. He enjoys calm walks, rides quietly in the car, and is working on his leash manners (he pulls a little at first, but settles into a nice rhythm). He knows “sit,” “come here,” and “get in your box,” and is learning “shake” and “lay down.” His favorite toys include squeaky toys and bully sticks, but his true favorite thing is just being with his people. Pancake does have sensitive skin and is currently doing well on a lamb and brown rice diet. He hasn’t met cats up close, but he has shown some curiosity when he sees them on walks. The ideal home for Pancake would be with someone who’s as relaxed and easygoing as he is—a quiet home where he can be your loyal shadow and favorite cuddle buddy. He’s a total love bug who shows his affection with his signature “happy stomp” when he walks toward you. Pancake is ready for his forever home, even if that means traveling up north to find his perfect match. He’d do just fine on a transport ride and will reward his new family with endless love, quiet companionship, and the sweetest face you’ve ever seen.
