Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt Hi, my name is Marcy. I am from Arkansas. From her foster: Marcy is such a massive sweetie! She has been calm and gentle in her foster home. She was rescued from a breeding operation but somehow she still adores people. She is still learning to be a regular dog, before she was rescued she hadn’t lived indoors, walked on a leash, or done any regular house dog things. She is a tender heart, still pretty nervous with new people. Marcy came to Minnesota with some health problems including heart worm which she is being treated for. Marcy is huge! 84 lbs and we’re hoping she gains more weight! Give this big mama the cozy retirement that she deserves! Marcy has been pretty nervous to be left home alone and I think her dream home would be a household where she doesn’t have to be alone very much. She has had short interactions with kids and cats and she seems to do well with both but would take a little training to make sure she doesn’t jump on kids. She seems to really enjoy being with other dogs. I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family.
