My story

Meet Kaleo! This 12-week-old male pup is as friendly as they come, with a playful personality and a nonstop wiggly tail. He’s full of puppy energy and curiosity, always ready for a game of fetch or a cuddle on the couch. Kaleo loves meeting new people and will greet you with happy wiggles and lots of love. He’s looking for a forever family who’s ready to enjoy all the fun (and a little bit of puppy mischief) that comes with raising a sweet, active pup. Think Kaleo might be the one for you? Come meet him at the MaryAnn Wright Animal Adoption and Education Center—he can’t wait to wiggle his way into your heart!For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test. For an additional $20, cats (12 weeks and older) can be tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) / FLV (feline leukemia).
