My story

Bullet is a sweet and resilient Chihuahua mix who was found as a stray after being shot in the leg. After three months of recovery, he’s now zipping around on all four legs. Despite all he’s been through, he’s a gentle, loyal little guy who’s shy at first but once he trusts you, he becomes your shadow. He loves to cuddle, be held, and stay close. if you're not holding him, he’ll curl up on a blanket at your feet just to be near you. He loves toys even though he is still learning how to play with them. He proudly collects them on his bed like little treasures. He’s doing great with house training and is getting more comfortable with his harness and collar, but they still make him a bit nervous. Bullet would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and loved. He does well with laid-back dogs and dog-friendly cats. High-energy dogs can overwhelm him, but slow introductions help him warm up. A home without young children is best, as loud noises and quick movements can scare him. This little guy may be small, but his heart is big and full of love just waiting to be shared. He’s been through so much and come out the other side still believing in people. Now all he needs is someone to believe in him. If you're looking for a cuddle buddy and a forever friend who just wants to be by your side, Bullet is ready to fill that spot in your heart and home. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match. ##2355586##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bullet, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
