My story

Hailing from a family of renowned folk rock musicians is our own Indigo Girl. This lovely little Chi spent a number of years busking on the streets, regaling passersby with her deft guitar playing and her own special interpretations of "Water is Wide", "Closer to Fine" and other hits of the late 80s and mid 90s. At 7 years of age, she is still a spritely gal with sweet song stylings. But life on the road can get a bit tiresome, so we are very glad she made her way to Muttville. This beautiful little girl is about 14 pounds and so far, has shown us she loves people, she loves dogs and in general, just loves love!! Indigo Girl is very calm and gentle, quite a mellow gal to be around. Please come to HQ and meet this sweet little Chi. Maybe you'll find a singing partner! Here's some notes from her foster: This lovely Chi/Pug is a super easy-going girl. I have nicknamed her Twinkie because she is soft, golden blonde confection-yummy and sweet, inside and out. Her #1 hobby is elite, competition level napping. She loves to be close, but is fine snoozing on the couch whilst you do your thing around the house. My impression is that she will do best with plenty of companionship from humans and maybe another dog. She and my dog are getting along well. She has made new human and canine friends at my daily coffee outing. It took her a couple of days to feel safe and secure with me. Now that she has had some time to decompress her personality is starting to emerge .She seems to be a calm, yet curious girl. Sometimes she feels compelled to see what I am doing in another room, but she doesn't need to follow me everywhere I go. She has been with me for a week and I have yet to hear a peep out of her. She does well on leash and on car rides. She is very happy running errands with me and enjoys being out and about. She does well on carpeted stairs, but is a bit cautious on slippery surfaces. We have been working on a consistent schedule to make sure she gets outside to take care of her business. On the few occasions when I have missed her timing she will use a potty pad. This young senior girl will be a source of joy for the person who chooses her. She is truly a lovebug.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Indigo Girl 13098, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
