My story

Spunky little sister materialEst. Date of Birth:  5/1/2023, weight 37 lbs Ziggy is spunky, fun, and knows how to have a good time, without overdoing it! She has a good balance of energy and playfulness but knows how to relax and stay calm in her kennel. This girl walks like a pro on a leash and knows to sit patiently and wait when her walking companion has stopped moving forward. When given the opportunity to play with friends, Ziggy is the life of the party! She loves to be chased, but is also happy to do the chasing. She enjoys a little roughhousing with dogs of all sizes, while respecting their boundaries. Ziggy would blossom in an environment with a canine friend or two to grow and play with!   Ziggy was found alone in a neighborhood in North Houston. She happily greeted people who walked by, with and without dogs, but stayed in the same place all day as though she were waiting for someone to return. A kind neighbor brought Ziggy to her home at the end of the day and made sure she was safe for the night and well taken care of.   Now, Ziggy is ready for her furever family! If you are ready for a sweet and joyful dog who is crate trained, house trained, and leash trained (she walks perfectly next to a stroller too)! Look no further than this sleek-haired beauty!   HOPE ID D25-0614-0033 If you are interested in Ziggy and would like to fill out a Dog Adoption Application, please go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt from us but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at lisagilchrist16@gmail.com and a volunteer will get back to you.June 30, 2025, 11:12 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ziggy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
