My story

As Jackson approaches his fourth birthday, he continues to be a dogâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s dog. He loves walks on his leash, rolling around in the grass, gnaw on a good chew toy, and finding the primo spot to curl up with his people. Jacksonâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s smart as a whip and cleverly figures out everything from how to interact with other dogs to how to get the stuffing out of his toys. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s excellent at coming when heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s called and will never turn down a chance to go for a ride (especially to the dog park). He does speak up when people approach his family, or when he first gets into his crate, mostly because he wants to keep his family safe and close to him. Jackson listens well, and with a reminder, he understands how to be on his best behavior. He likes a routine with structure plus plenty of engagement. Even in a home with other pups, he likes having his own space when heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s ready to unwind. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll stick close to his family, though, and love being a part of their world. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
