Bambi 2025

My story

Pretty BAMBI is a darling little beagle mix girl looking for a home. She's a young dog, maybe 2-3 years old and fully grown at just 26 lbs. It appears that Bambi has already had a litter of pups. Our best guess on her breed mix in addition to beagle is some chiweenie (chihuahua/dachshund) giving her a long and low squatty body and "tweener" ears (neither long nor upright), plus a few other breeds we can't begin to guess at. Bambi is a good natured affectionate girl who's happy to meet new people and is good with other dogs. She enjoys playing with her doggie pals and doing zoomies in the yard.  Bambi loves toys and loves to chase frisbees and balls. Bambi would be fine with another playful dog and would be fine as an only dog. If you'd like to meet Bambi, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Bambi at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
