My story

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** Meet Maddie!  This sweet sweet girl was found in a nature preserve in the wet and cold of spring along with a couple of other pups that we believe were her siblings.  Maddie has been with us at the shelter since the first part of April and is now looking for her forever home.  Her sister Matilda has already been spoken for but since both of the girls are in the 4-H dog training program, her new family is waiting to take her home.  We would love love love for Maddie to also have a home of her very own to go to when she is done showing off all of her new skills and talents at the finale of the dog show which takes place the end of July.  Maddie is super friendly, gets along with everyone she meets and very playful.  She has good leash skills and loves to be in the mix with people.  Maddie also absolutely loves to be outside!  We don't often have a dog that we feel would be a good fit to be an inside/outside dog, but Maddie certainly would enjoy that lifestyle.  Maddie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.  She is ready to go to a home where she can get lots of love and have space to run around and then plop in the shade for a big nap!  Her adoption fee is $300.00 June 30, 2025, 7:08 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Maddie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
