My story

Tawny is an independent girl who would love a quiet foster home where she can rest and recover from some irritation and inflammation of the skin on her legs.Reason for Foster: Dermatitis on her rear legsFoster Time Frame: 1 - 2 weeks(The foster time frame may be shorter or longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Tawny is currently being treated for dermatitis - or skin inflammation - on her rear legs. Our vet thinks this may be a result of an allergic reaction of some kind. She has already received treatment via injectable medications and is now in need of some time to recover and let her skin heal. Tawny is an independent girl who can be friendly when she is in the mood. She will do best in a home with a foster who is willing to let her have her own space and solicit interactions at her own pace.Tawny is also available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
