My story

**Adoption visits are by appointment only** If you see an animal you`re interested in, fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website https://everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-PetFIRST STEPS: Please visit https://www.save-a-mutt.org/adoption-application/ to fill out an application - a Petfinder Inquiry is not the adoption process. We don`t do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State. We are a local foster home based rescue.Saturday is a very special girl who deserves a home where she will live her life as a cherished family member. She loves all people and thinks that everybody is her friend. Saturday would love a family that will include her in their adventures. She loves car rides and is ready to go when you are and if the plan is just relaxing on the couch she is ready for that too. This girl just wants to belong.Saturday is a favorite at the shelter and she loves going about town on her WanderRover adventures. Saturday has recently learned proper potty manners and will benefit from a patient family willing to establish a predictable routine. Saturday hasn`t been reactive to other dogs while on walks and we think she might enjoy a calm, submissive, male buddy. We don’t know Saturday’s history with cats, therefore, we are asking for a feline free home. Saturday recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. She was born with an elongated soft palate which prevented normal breathing. She had surgery to resection her soft palate, resection her nares and she is now, for the first time, able to enjoy breathing normally. She also had a benign mass removed. Saturday is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. She is 10 years old and weighs 61 pounds. Her adoption donation is $300.Wandering Rover feedback: Saturday was very sweet and was just as happy in the car as she was outside. She was super sweet with the people who approached to say hello and give pets.Another Rover said, `We had the best day with Saturday! She is the sweetest old lady ever and we really enjoyed our time with her. We took her for a car ride, a couple of short walks, and a pet store visit. She`s extremely easy-going, and her favorite part of the day was laying on a blanket at the park and being loved on by every person who walked past. She is very food motived and will sit for a treat. She is very affectionate and really loves people, and did not react t

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Saturday, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
