My story

Meet Maebell, a 4-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer who came to Big Dog Ranch after being surrendered by an owner who could no longer care for her. She arrived with her two best friends, Nola and Gunner, and the three are a bonded trio who must be adopted together. Their bond runs deep, and they find comfort and confidence in one another. Maebell is a calm and affectionate dog with a moderate energy level, making her a great match for a variety of home environments. She’s an excellent option for someone who has never owned a dog before, as she is already well-behaved and easygoing. Maebell walks nicely on a leash, is housetrained, and knows basic commands. She is also good with other dogs, good with cats, and gentle with children. She’s incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle with her people, often leaning in for a snuggle or quietly sitting by your side. She also has a playful side—she enjoys toys, splashing in water, and spending time outside with her friends. Maebell is more than ready to find a family that will love her and her bonded buddies for the rest of their lives.
