My story

Parker is a handsome medium-haired cat with soft, greyish-brown fur and a wonderfully expressive personality. His foster describes him as a talkative guy who loves lounging on comfy surfaces and soaking up affection—especially head and neck pets, which earn you plenty of soft purrs. Parker is super friendly with his humans, and isn’t too sure about other animal friends just yet (but with a slow introduction, he could potentially succeed with a pet friend at home). He’s a food-driven kitty who has settled into a healthy feeding routine, no longer scarfing down meals and using his litter box like a champ. Parker occasionally enjoys a snuggle and loves to “make biscuits” when he's happy. He’s playful with catnip and string toys, was a trooper during bath time, and continues to heal beautifully from a past injury on his neck. This sweet, easygoing boy would love a calm home where he can chat, nap, and be adored. All of our cats and kittens go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their core vaccines, as well as flea and tick preventatives. Each adoption also includes a 3.5-pound bag of Iams cat food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
