My story

Perch is a handsome brown tabby with a gentle soul and a curious heart. He came to Anderson Humane from a hoarding situation where he lived with many other cats, so he's still learning what it's like to be the center of attention. At first, Perch may be a little shy, but once he feels safe, his sweet personality starts to shine. He enjoys soft head scratches and pets, and will even reward your kindness with quiet little meows. Perch is a special guy who just needs a bit of patience and love to truly blossom—once he does, you'll have a loyal and affectionate companion for life. All of our cats and kittens go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their core vaccines, as well as flea and tick preventatives. Each adoption also includes a 3.5-pound bag of Iams cat food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
