My story

Meet Milo Mills   Milo Mills is a 5-year-old, 7 lb Yorkshire Terrier looking for a forever home with Yorkie-loving humans who appreciate all the quirks and qualities that make this breed so beloved. He is hypoallergenic, up to date on vaccinations, and already neutered.   This sweet, scrappy little guy didn’t have the best start—he came to us underweight and clearly neglected. But with time, care, and patience, he’s blossoming into a devoted, affectionate companion. Milo loves being near his person at all times and makes an excellent couch buddy and shadow around the house. Because of that, we’re looking for someone who is home most of the day and wants a constant canine sidekick.   He’s about 90% housetrained when kept on a consistent schedule. He still wears a belly band in the house just in case, but he’s making great progress. Milo is not crate trained and strongly prefers to sleep in bed with his person, which he does calmly.   True to his Yorkie roots, Milo is smart, independent, and a little headstrong. He’s a bit of a door dasher and should be considered a flight risk, he does require a securely fenced yard. He does have nippy tendencies, especially if overstimulated or guarding a high-value item. (He recently nipped during a rotisserie chicken moment.) Because of this, Milo needs an experienced, adult-only home with no children.   He does very well with other dogs—even ones who aren’t particularly friendly to him—and while he’s not into toys, he enjoys a good chew bone. He’s not overly food motivated but isn’t picky about meals either.   If you’re a Yorkie lover who understands the breed and wants a grateful, loyal little dog by your side, Milo may be your perfect match.   See more photos of Milo here :  https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjCjQKL     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.
