My story

    Hi, I'm Athena Minerva! I may be only 10 pounds, but my heart  is HUGE. I'm a 2-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, and my foster mom says I’m wise beyond my years, fitting, right? After all, I’m named after Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and courage. I’m a certified lap expert and a professional people-follower. If you move, I move. I just love being close to my humans. I get along great with other small dogs, I walk nicely on a leash, and I enjoy sniffing around a fenced backyard. I’m super agile too, so don’t be surprised if you catch me showing off my hops. At night, I sleep peacefully in my crate (after one last cuddle, of course). All I need now is a forever family to love me as much as I’ll love them. Think we’re a match? Come meet me!
