This gentle giant is currently in boarding and seeking either a foster or furever home where she can shower her people with the endless love she has to give. Sue is the epitome of calm, sweet, and gentle – a precious girl who simply wants to be petted and cherished by her humans. She's a true people-lover who maintains eye contact while receiving affection, making every interaction feel special and connected. Sue walks well on leash, never pulling because she genuinely wants to go wherever you go, making her the perfect walking companion. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and pretty much ignores cats entirely, being far more interested in receiving pets from her favorite humans than paying attention to the resident feline. This former livestock guardian dog retired herself from sheep farm life because she discovered she preferred seeking attention and treats from the neighbors rather than focusing on her guardian duties. Sue can climb fences, so she'll need either a home with 5-foot privacy fencing or committed leash-walking only. What she truly craves is a furever family who will dote on her always, comforting her during thunderstorms and fireworks, and giving her the constant companionship and affection that this love-hungry lady so deeply deserves. This dog travels with a Interstate Health Certificate required by the USDA confirming that all the above criteria have been met. Housebroken: Unknown  Can be Placed With: Dogs, Cats, Kids  Fencing: Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed. Fees: Adoption fees are determined on a sliding scale depending on age, location and transport. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. Fees for dogs adopted locally start at $400 and can range up to $700 for puppies under six months. Puppies placed on spay/neuter contracts receive $100 back when the dog is spayed or neutered. Our relationship doesn’t end with adoption, as we continue to support adopters throughout the lifetime of their dog. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues.
