My story

Introducing Beau, a sweet and resilient 5-year-old, 40-pound pittie with a heart full of love and a spirit that can’t be broken. Even though he has faced significant challenges, including hind-end paralysis and the loss of a leg, Beau has overcome so much since arriving at Rocket Dog! He was in really rough shape when we received him.. but with some care and love, he’s in much better condition and continues to thrive every day! Although this sweet guy hops around on three legs, his zest for life is truly infectious! He’s eager to be around people and brings joy wherever he goes with his playful energy and a sweet smile on his face. We’re hopeful that a custom-made wheelchair will help Beau get around even better, and he’s ready to show his future family just how much love and happiness he has to offer.
