My story

Hey Future Family, I’m Vera—5 years old, 53 lbs, spayed, house-trained, crate-trained and full of love and energy! My best buddy Tux and I were hoping our person could take us back, but sadly, they weren’t able to reclaim us. So now we’re officially up for adoption and looking for a forever home together—because we’re a bonded pair and wouldn’t want it any other way. I’m a social butterfly—I love to play, go on walks, and hang out with all people. Tux is my sweet rock. He might be 105 lbs, but he’s the gentlest giant you’ll ever meet. He’s obsessed with fetch, while I've made up my own game called "steal." It's similar but all the toys end up in my crate! We’ve been side-by-side for years, and we’re each other’s comfort in all the big changes we’ve faced lately.
