Tavarua "Tava"

My story

***Currently located in Guerrero, Mexico*** Aloha,My name is Tavarua, but you can call me Tava. I used to live in a junkyard in Buena Vista with my siblings, and things were ruff — I looked pretty bad and was way too skinny. Luckily, the amazing crew at Surfers For Strays showed up with full hearts and full bowls. They were super worried about me, so I stayed with one of their kind-hearted vets, Dr. Costilla (he’s basically a hero in a white coat ‍ ). Thanks to his care, I gained weight, got stronger, and was finally healthy enough for my vaccines. I even got to hang out with other perritos and started learning how to just… be a dog. I get along well with other dogs and really enjoy playtime (especially tag and tail-chasing!). I’m a playful, loving soul, dreaming of that big wave… the one that takes me to my furever home.  Dr. Costilla had to leave on a little trip, so I took a nice bath (mmm, smellin’ fresh!) and now I’m getting ready to be sterilized with my siblings — it’s a big step in our health and happiness. ‍ Every time I snooze under the stars, I dream of having a family. I dream of you. Could you be my next adventure? My snuggle buddy?
