My story

Meet Asia! Are you looking for a senior canine companion? Asia's your girl! Asia is a lab mix. She is black with the cutest white paws...and of course some distinguished grey mixed in. Asia is medium sized and weighs 51 pounds. Asia came to TRI in mid-May. Her original owner passed away. The owner's ex-wife took Asia in to keep her safe, but due this was only a temporary solution due to the ex-wife's health. Eventually Asia was connected with TRI, and we took Asia in to help her find her final forever family. Asia is fully vetted. She is a senior, so she is not a dog to go on long walks with you. Strolls up and down the front of the house? Sure! Playing in the backyard? Absolutely! Or better yet - Asia would love to go on car rides with you. She really enjoys watching out the car window! Asia is good with other dogs of all ages and sizes. In fact, she is in foster care with six other canine friends right now. Asia is friendly with humans, but she never learned how to properly greet She will bark at you for about 10-15 seconds, then come up to you, sniff you and be in your lap. Our trainer came out to meet Asia and she was in his lap in 30 seconds lovin' on him.
