How this pet arrived:Mely was brought in by a community member on June 14, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Mely! Mely #956112 is bonded to her bestie, Ursula #955875 which means they must be adopted together! Mely is a bit shy with new places and faces, and appreciates some time and patience to open up at her pace. Once she does feel more comfortable, she loves to play (maybe at a distance at first). She will thrive best in a lower-traffic home without the hustle and bustle of young children or rambunctious dogs. The way to her heart is to offer lots of positive interactions and patience while she warms up to you. She will need to be kept in a small, quiet room at first while she discovers her new home. Just think of the special bond you'll share because you helped Mely and Ursula come out of their shells!
