My story

Hi, I’m Rosie! 🐾 I’m a 2-year-old, 50 pound pup with a heart full of love and a story that’s still being written—and I hope the next chapter is with you. Life wasn't always easy for me. I wasn’t given the care every dog deserves, and because of that, I lost some of my fur to alopecia. But guess what? Since I’ve been in my foster home, I’ve been healing, growing stronger, and learning what it feels like to be loved. My hair may not be perfect, but my spirit sure is! I do best with slow introductions to new people, but once I get to know someone, I'll love them forever! I get along great with other dogs, too. Whether it’s playtime or just hanging out, I love having company. I would do best with another pup to live with. My foster fur siblings haven't really played with me, but just having them around makes me feel more comfortable and confident. Sometimes I like to do silly things, like sleeping in a laundry basket and helping to pack a cooler! I am crate trained and sleep all night! I’m doing well with house training and I'm really well-behaved in the home. One of my favorite things to do is to snuggle! I'll happily curl up beside you and soak in the calm, quiet moments. I also love to go for walks or hikes—nature is so much fun to explore and I love to meet new people when I'm out and about! I’ve come a long way, and now I’m looking for a forever family who will keep loving me the way I’ve always deserved. Could that be you?
