My story

Mia is a special girl who was surrendered to us when her owners were going through a divorce. Mia is a sweet, quiet girl who gets along with everyone she meets. She is not a barker and is an "easy keeper." Shes not demanding but still is attentive and loving. Mia walks well on a leash, is good in a crate and is housebroken. She came to us with an advanced but fixable medical problem which was not disclosed by the owner. She had bladder stones taking up so much of her bladder that she could hardly hold any urine which is most likely the real reason neither owner wanted to keep her. She had surgery and does have to eat a high quality diet low in phosphorus but otherwise is completely healthy and ready for her new home. She is 9 years old and she weighs 13 lbs. She will be a wonderful companion to anyone who has love to share with a beautiful dog.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mia, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
