My story

Oh, little Peanut, all grown up!! Peanut was just a little guy when his former owner first got him (only 8 weeks), which may be why he was named Peanut, but now he's about 12 1/2 pounds (which is an ideal weight for him). Peanut is a little sad here at the shelter. He was so loved by his former owner, who needed to bring him to the shelter due to health issues, that he's a little bit less than pleased to be here... It's difficult for some cats like Peanut to enter the shelter, though we believe he will feel better in a home. He's looking for a quiet home without other animals or children. He's looking for someone who's willing to be patient while he transitions into a new phase of life. He's hoping for someone who understands changes can be hard.
