My story

Name: Iris Location: Texas  (transport available) Breed: Mixed breed (Border Collie/Heeler mix) Age: Approximately 5–6 months Size: Medium (still growing) Good with: Other dogs Temperament: Shy, sweet, and playful Iris was dumped at an RV park in rural Texas along with her four siblings. A rescue came and took three of them, leaving Iris and her brother Oden behind. Alone and confused, the two stuck close together, unsure of what would happen next. Thankfully, Peps Pal Rescue stepped in to save them both. Iris is a beautiful young dog with a gentle spirit. While she can be shy at first, she is incredibly sweet and curious. Once she feels safe, her playful and loving personality starts to shine. She loves being around other dogs and especially enjoys the company of her brother. Her unique markings and expressive ears only add to her charm. Iris is looking for a patient, loving family that can give her the time and care she needs to build confidence. A calm home with another dog would be ideal, helping her continue to blossom into the wonderful companion she’s meant to be. Iris is ready to start her next chapter. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.). Our adoption fee is $400 plus health certificate ($50) and transport ($200 for most locations). This adoption fee includes all current basic vaccinations, deworming, microchip (with lifetime registration), and a heartworm test. Spay may not be done for a puppy yet due to age. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport. ##2446043##
