PEASE NOTE: LEEO IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE TORONTO, ON AREA We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption. NAME: Leo Age: 5 years old Breed: Mexi-Mix Sex: Male Weight: 20-25 lbs Location: Toronto, ON Adoption fee: $600.00 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Leash trained: Good on leash House trained: Yes Kids/Cats/Dogs: a little fearful of dogs, good with cats children 6+ Vetting: Up to date on all vaccination, sterilized, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for Heart worm. Currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, dewormed and vet checked before arriving. Medical Issues: Teeth worn down Comes with 4 weeks free pet insurance (after initial vet visit) Looking for a calm, affectionate, and low-maintenance companion to share your life (and your couch) with? Leo might be your perfect match. This handsome, gentle should is a model housemate. Leo starts each day with an adorable stretch, followed by a happy little dance when he sees his leash. He enjoys several short walks throughout the day, taking his time to stop and smell the roses - no tugging just a mellow stroll. Afterward, he’s all about lounging on his bed, the couch or better yet, right next to you. He’s a patient, slow eater (soft food is his favourite), and while his teeth are a little worn down, it doesn’t slow him down from enjoying mealtime. Leo is incredible gentle with children, and is calm and polite around cats. He’s a bit timid around other dogs right now, so he may be best as an only dog where he can get a lot of attention. He is, after all, a love bug who lives for belly rubs and affection. He makes an excellent road trip buddy - quiet, relaxed, and happy to ride in the car either curled up or resting on your lap while secured. His ideal home would be a quiet, loving home where someone is around often and appreciates a low - key companion. Leo would love a family whose patient with his shy moments, but ready to share lots of love and head rubs. If you’re looking for a loyal friend whose content with gentle walks and long naps while you catch on your favourite shows, Leo is your guy. All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety. NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.
