  Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Farrah #2 finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails) .   Meet Farrah – Your Next Adventure Buddy and Cuddle Companion! Breed: Scruffy Mix | Age: 4 months | Weight: 18 lbs | Color: Black and Tan Looking for a puppy who’s equal parts playful, smart, and sweet? Meet Farrah, an affectionate 4-month-old scruffy mix who’s ready to find her forever home! Farrah is a curious little explorer who loves her daily walks, car rides, and discovering all the sights and sounds the world has to offer. With her soft black and tan coat and those irresistible puppy eyes, she turns heads wherever she goes. She’s crate-trained, nearly fully house-trained (she’ll stand by the door when she needs to go out), and is already learning commands like sit and shake! Farrah is super smart and food-motivated, making training a breeze. She’s great on leash and has no issues being left alone for a few hours while crated—though she’d much rather be hanging out with you! Farrah adores people of all ages, including children, and gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes. She hasn’t met any cats yet, but with proper introductions, she may do just fine. She loves squeaky toys, bones, and a good game of fetch—and when playtime winds down, she’ll melt your heart by resting her head on you or offering a paw for extra love. Farrah does still have a little puppy energy to burn and may jump up or nibble when she’s excited, but she responds well to gentle guidance and structure. Farrah’s ideal home would be one where she can get plenty of exercise, attention, and love. A person or family who enjoys walking, playing, and snuggling would be a perfect match for this lovable girl. Ready to fall in love? Apply to adopt Farrah today and let the adventures begin!    If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $450 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit). Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
