Blue

My story

On the outside Blue is a pretty orange and white 'floofy' kitty, but on the inside, she's a vibrant BLUE!  Regal, resilient, passionate! She's a gal with spirit, zest for life, and really craves love and affection(but on her terms). It's understandable when you know her back story.  She's been through a lot, including being dumped outside CACC by her former family, so of course, she's afraid of being abandoned again, so she protects her sweet, generous heart. Happily, she's now with an experienced and patient foster who's giving her all the time and space she needs to finally feel safe and loved.  While she still sometimes gets overstimulated and may use her nails(which need to be trimmed regularly) to signal exactly where and how she wants pets and attention, her foster mom has learned to read her cues and follow her lead.  She is definitely learning how to show affection positively.  She's a smart girl!  As she becomes more and more secure and feels safe and loved in her new home, her foster is confident that she will continue to relax and become increasingly more tolerant and loved! Blue is a definite people cat, so she'd need an adult-only(animal free)home with folks who are around a lot and enjoy a loving cat who loves attention, curling up in your lap, snoozing next to you in bed or sprawled out on the couch while watching your favorite t.v. show.   As long as she's touching her person, she's one happy gal!  Blue could be the world's best work from home companion.  She would keep your lap warm during your workday, interrupt your zoom meetings (coworkers love that, don't worry) and then join you for a smidge of Netflix in the evening.  And she'll look fabulous doing it.  What else could you need?  Oh, yes, and she can talk a 'blue streak! "  Blue puts her head on your chest and looks at you with the biggest most loving blue eyes!  She looks at you like love incarnate.   This slightly quirky girl is not into toys and playing, but that just gives her more time to love on her people!  Oh, and we can't forget her napping and purring happily while burrowing her cute, furry face into your elbow!
