Meet Penelope – From the Euthanasia List to a Second Chance!  Penelope’s story is one of resilience and hope. Found as a stray in Texas and placed on the euthanasia list, her future looked bleak—until a compassionate foster stepped in and reached out to Pep’s Pals Rescue. Now safe and sound in Colorado, Penelope is ready to find her forever home! This young, affectionate girl has so much love to give. Penelope is curious, gentle, and playful—she adores lounging on the couch just as much as she loves chasing after her favorite toys. Loyal and sweet-natured, she’s also fantastic with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion. Though she may be a little shy at first, Penelope warms up quickly—and once she does, she’s all about belly rubs and bonding time. She’s a smart cookie who’s eager to learn and would love an owner who can help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. Penelope is more than just a survivor—she’s a true gem looking for a family to cherish her. Could you be her happy ending? CURRENTLY IN TEXAS, BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.). Our adoption fee is $300 plus health certificate ($50) and transport ($200 for most locations). This adoption fee includes all current basic vaccinations, deworming, microchip (with lifetime registration), and a heartworm test. Spay may not be done for a puppy yet due to age. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport. ##2445746##
