My story

Meet Betsy Betsy is a 7-month-old bundle of love, curiosity, and kisses! This adorable girl has lots of puppy energy, loves playing with other dogs, and is always up for an adventure. She’s still working on her leash skills—but with a little guidance, she’ll be a great walking buddy in no time. Her Story Betsy’s mom gave birth to 8 puppies in a home where the landlord threatened eviction unless the dogs were removed. Thankfully, our amazing partners at SOS El Arca rescued the entire family. Betsy’s mom has since been adopted in Connecticut—and now it’s time for Betsy to find her forever home too! Coming to New York in July! Betsy has a chance to travel to New York in July, but only if we can secure a foster, foster-to-adopt, or adopter in time! Great With Everyone Betsy is friendly with children, dogs, and cats. She’s playful, sweet, and well-mannered when meeting new people—an ideal companion for anyone who loves walks, cuddles, and canine affection. Training To help Betsy grow into the best dog she can be, we ask that all adopters sign her up for a fun group puppy class. It’s a great way for her to keep learning, make new friends, and build confidence as she settles into her new life!
