My story

Meet Alfred – Your Loyal, Loving Companion Alfred is full of love, spunk, and joy—and all he wants is to share it with you. He’s one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever meet: quick to trust, endlessly affectionate, and always ready to play. He especially enjoys romping with his kennel mates, and while he has a playful spirit, Alfred is wonderfully responsive to his caregivers and volunteers. He calms down easily and is happiest when he’s relaxing quietly by your side. From Stray to Star Alfred was found roaming the streets—skinny, hungry, and just 6 months old. Thankfully, our rescue partners at SOS El Arca Animal Rescue stepped in to provide the care, nourishment, and love he needed to heal and thrive. That rough start? Just a distant memory now. Today, Alfred is a healthy, handsome 2-year-old with a big heart and an even bigger personality—ready at last to find a home of his own. New York, Here He Comes? Alfred has the chance to travel to New York this July, but only if we can find a foster, foster-to-adopt, or adopter. He’s been in the shelter far too long, and we’re determined to give him the second chance he truly deserves. Alfred is Ready for His New Life! -Neutered and microchipped -Up-to-date on all vaccines -Heartworm tested (negative) -On flea/tick/heartworm prevention -Dewormed A Perfect Fit Alfred would thrive in just about any household—he gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and people. He’s more than adoptable—he’s ready to flourish and share endless love and loyalty with the lucky person or family who welcomes him home. Can You Give Alfred His Chance? Apply today at sosanimalwelfare.org or email us at sosanimalwelfare@gmail.com. We’re happy to answer any questions! Alfred is ready to love, to play, and to belong. Will it be with you?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Alfred, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
